  不论工作多么艰辛，真实的工人决不会将它看作是一种苦役。他们乐意付出代价，尽心竭力。他们既怀着快乐的心情工作，工作就自然是愉快的了。那在上帝里面的喜乐原是藉着耶稣基督发扬出来的。他们的喜乐就是那摆在基督面前的喜乐，“就是遵行差我来者的旨意，作成祂的工”（约4:34）。他们是在与荣耀的主合作。他们若这样想，一切的辛苦就会变为甘甜。他们就会怀着坚强的决心，饱满的精神来应付所面临的一切。他们既以无私的爱心作工，并因与基督一同受苦，共表同情，在工作中与祂合作而成为高尚，就能帮助推动喜乐的浪潮，并给祂的圣名带来尊荣和颂赞。[2]

  However trying their labor, the true workers do not regard it as drudgery. They are ready to spend and to be spent; but it is a cheerful work, done with a glad heart. Joy in God is expressed through Jesus Christ. Their joy is the joy set before Christ—“to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work.” They are in co-operation with the Lord of glory. This thought sweetens all toil, it braces the will, it nerves the spirit for whatever may befall. Working with unselfish heart, ennobled by being partakers of Christ’s sufferings, sharing His sympathies, and co-operating with Him in His labor, they help to swell the tide of His joy, and bring honor and praise to His exalted name.{RRe 190.2}[2]
