  当地球东倒西歪，电光四射，雷声大作的时候，上帝儿子的声音要把睡了的圣徒唤醒起来。祂望着义人的坟墓，然后举手向天呼喊说：“醒起，醒起，醒起，你们这睡在尘埃中的人起来！”从天涯到地极，死人要听见那声音，凡听见的都要复活。那时从各国、各族、各方、各民中有人出来，聚成极大的队伍。他们的步声要响遍全地。他们要从死亡的监牢中出来，身上披着不朽的荣耀，呼喊着说：“死啊，你得胜的权势在哪里？死啊，你的毒钩在哪里”（林前15:55）？活着的义人和复活的圣徒要同声发出经久而欢乐的胜利呐喊。（GC 644）[2]

  Amid the reeling of the earth, the flash of lightning, and the roar of thunder, the voice of the Son of God calls forth the sleeping saints. He looks upon the graves of the righteous, then raising His hands to heaven He cries, “Awake, awake, awake, ye that sleep in the dust, and arise!” Throughout the length and breadth of the earth, the dead shall hear that voice; and they that hear shall live. And the whole earth shall ring with the tread of the exceeding great army of every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. From the prison-house of death they come, clothed with immortal glory, crying “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?   那时许多家庭必要重新团聚。现今，当我们为死人忧伤时，可以想到将来上帝号筒吹响的那个早晨，“死人要复活成为不朽坏的，我们也要改变”（林前15:52）。不久，我们要看见王的荣美。不久，祂要擦去我们一切的眼泪。不久，祂要使我们“无瑕无疵，欢欢喜喜站在祂荣耀之前”（犹24）。因此，当祂提出祂降临的预兆时，说：“一有这些事，你们就当挺身昂首，因为你们得赎的日子近了。”（DA 632）[3]

When we look upon our dead, we may think of the morning when the trump of God shall sound, when “the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed.” A little longer, and we shall see the King in His beauty. A little longer, and He will wipe all tears from our eyes.
