十月二十五日基督教的科学

The Science of Christianity, October 25

“我是攻克己身，叫身服我。恐怕我传福音给别人，自己反被弃绝了”（林前9:27）。{RC312.1}

I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. 1 Corinthians 9:27. {RC 312.1}

基督徒的生活，是要且战且进的。这场战争，是没有休息的，必须时刻坚持地努力。我们对撒但的诸般试探保持胜利，乃在乎继续不断地努力。务须以无可抵御的精力寻求基督化的正直，更须以毅然决然而坚定不移的志向保持它。{RC312.2}

The Christian life is a battle and a march. In this warfare there is no release; the effort must be continuous and persevering. It is by unceasing endeavor that we maintain the victory over the temptations of Satan. Christian integrity must be sought with resistless energy and maintained with a resolute fixedness of purpose. {RC 312.2}

若不肯自己下坚持切实的功夫，别人决不能拖他向上。这人生的仗，各人必须自己去打，战争的结果，也归我们个人承当；虽有挪亚约伯和但以理在世上，他们也不能用他们的义来救自己的子女。{RC312.3}

No one will be borne upward without stern, persevering effort in his own behalf. All must engage in this warfare for themselves. Individually we are responsible for the issue of the struggle; though Noah, Job, and Daniel were in the land, they could deliver neither son nor daughter by their righteousness. {RC 312.3}

有一种基督教的科学应当精通——这种科学较比任何人间的科学更深，更宽，更高，犹如天之高过地一般。心思必须受锻炼，蒙教育，被训练；因为我们要以不合生来具有之倾向的方式为上帝服务。我们有必须克服的先天遗传与后天培养的作恶倾向。往往一生所受的训练和教育必须抛弃，人才能成为基督学校里的学生。{RC312.4}

There is a science of Christianity to be mastered—a science as much deeper, broader, higher than any human science as the heavens are higher than the earth. The mind is to be disciplined, educated, trained; for we are to do service for God in ways that are not in harmony with inborn inclination. There are hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil that must be overcome. Often the training and education of a lifetime must be discarded, that one may become a learner in the school of Christ. {RC 312.4}

我们的心志必须受教而得以在上帝的爱里坚稳。我们要养成那足能使我们抗拒试探的思想习惯。我们必须学习向上仰望。上帝之道的原则——如天一般高，而且包括永生的原则——我们要了解它们与我们日常生活的关系。每一言，每一行，每一思想，都要与这些原则一致。{RC312.5}

Our hearts must be educated to become steadfast in God. We are to form habits of thought that will enable us to resist temptation. We must learn to look upward. The principles of the Word of God—principles that are as high as heaven, and that compass eternity—we are to understand in their bearing upon our daily life. Every act, every word, every thought, is to be in accord with these principles. {RC 312.5}

从圣灵培植的宝贵美德并非在短时间内即可形成。勇敢，刚毅、温柔、信心及坚定相信上帝的拯救能力，皆是靠着多年的经历获得的。藉着一生圣洁的努力及坚决忠诚守正不阿，上帝的儿女要决定自己的命运。{RC312.6}

The precious graces of the Holy Spirit are not developed in a moment. Courage, fortitude, meekness, faith, unwavering trust in God’s power to save, are acquired by the experience of years. By a life of holy endeavor and firm adherence to the right the children of God are to seal their destiny. {RC 312.6}

我们没有时间可以浪费，我们不知我们的恩典时期多久会结束。永生在我们面前展开。帘幕就要卷起。基督快要复临。上帝的天使正努力吸引我们脱离自己及脱离地上的事。请不要让他们徒劳无功。{RC312.7}

We have no time to lose. We know not how soon our probation may close. Eternity stretches before us. The curtain is about to be lifted. Christ is soon to come. The angels of God are seeking to attract us from ourselves and from earthly things. Let them not labor in vain. {RC 312.7}

当耶稣在至圣所里站起来时，祂脱下作中保的礼服，并披上报仇的衣裳，命令即将发出：“不义的，叫他仍旧不义；……为义的，叫他仍旧为义；圣洁的，叫他仍旧圣洁。看哪，我必快来。赏罚在我，要照各人所行的报应他。”（启22:11,12）。（8T.313-315）{RC312.8}

When Jesus rises up in the most holy place, lays off His mediatorial robes, and clothes Himself with the garments of vengeance, the mandate will go forth: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: ... and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with me” (Revelation 22:11, 12).—Testimonies for the Church 8:313-315. {RC 312.8}
