第59章化时间与上帝交谈

Chap. 59 Take Time to Talk with God

论到我们的传道人，我曾得了特别的训示。他们想要发财，并不是上帝的旨意。他们不应从事世俗的企业；因为这会使他们不能运用最优良的力量作属灵的事。然而他们却应得到足够的薪资，以维持本身与家庭的生活。他们不应当负太多的重担，以致不能适当的注意自己家人的灵性；因为训练自己的儿女为主使用，乃是他们的特别责任。{GW 271.1}[1]

Special instruction has been given me in regard to our ministers. It is not God's will that they should seek to be rich. They should not engage in worldly enterprises; for this disqualifies them for giving their best powers to spiritual things. But they are to receive wages enough to support themselves and their families. They are not to have so many burdens laid upon them that they cannot give proper attention to the church in their own family; for it is their special duty to train their children for the Lord. {GW 271.1}[1]

叫传道人在事务方面忙个不停，到处往来奔走，到了深夜，还出席董事会与执委会，这实在是一件大错。因为这样做会使他疲惫不堪及灰心丧志的。传道人应有休息的时间，可以从圣经中获得生命之粮的丰富营养。他们应有时间从生命的泉源喝那使人复兴的慰藉之水。{GW 271.2}[2]

It is a great mistake to keep a minister constantly at work in business lines, going from place to place, and sitting up late at night in attendance at board meetings and committee meetings. This brings upon him weariness and discouragement. Ministers should have time to rest, to obtain from God's word the rich nourishment of the bread of life. They should have time to drink refreshing draughts of consolation from the stream of living water. {GW 271.2}[2]

传道人与教师当记着，应运用全部的才干，成全他们的职务，使出最优的能力作工，因为上帝必要查问这事。凡与上帝所派给他们的工作有冲突的事，都不应当去作。{GW 271.3}[3]

Let ministers and teachers remember that God holds them accountable to fill their office to the best of their ability, to bring into their work their very best powers. They are not to take up duties that conflict with the work that God has given them. {GW 271.3}[3]

传道人和教师若为经济上的责任所累，以致在上讲台或进课室时精疲神惫，除了用凡火来代替上帝所燃的圣火，还有什么可献上的呢？这种勉强残缺的努力，不但使听的人失望，也对讲的人有害。这都是因为他没有功夫去寻求主，没有时间本着信心祈求圣灵的恩膏所致。……{GW 271.4}[4]

When ministers and teachers, pressed under the burden of financial responsibilities, enter the pulpit or the schoolroom with wearied brain and overtaxed nerves, what else can be expected than that common fire will be used instead of the sacred fire of God's kindling? The strained, tattered efforts disappoint the listeners and hurt the speaker. He has had no time to seek the Lord, no time to ask in faith for the unction of the Holy Spirit. . . . {GW 271.4}[4]

我蒙指示向我的同工们说，你们若要获得天上丰富的宝藏，就必须与上帝秘密交往，若不如此行，你们的心就必缺乏圣灵，犹如基利心山缺少雨露一样。如果你们忙忙碌碌，作了这事又作那事，如果你们事情太多，以致没有功夫与上帝交谈，你们怎能希望作工有力量呢？{GW 272.1}[5]

I am instructed to say to my fellow-workers, If you would have the rich treasures of heaven, you must hold secret communion with God. Unless you do this, your soul will be as destitute of the Holy Spirit as were the hills of Gilboa of dew and rain. When you hurry from one thing to another, when you have so much to do that you cannot take time to talk with God, how can you expect power in your work? {GW 272.1}[5]

我们的许多传道人讲道之所以没有精神，没有生气，乃是因为他们让各种属世的事占据其光阴与注意。我们若不常在恩典中有长进，就会在必要的时候缺乏合适的话语可说。应当先跟自己的心交谈，然后与上帝交谈。若不这样行，那不圣洁的忙碌和杂乱，必使你们的努力毫无果效。{GW 272.2}[6]

The reason so many of our ministers preach tame, lifeless discourses is that they allow a variety of things of a worldly nature to take their time and attention. Unless there is constant growth in grace, we shall be wanting in words suitable for the occasion. Commune with your own heart, and then commune with God. Unless you do this, your efforts will be fruitless, made thus by unsanctified hurry and confusion. {GW 272.2}[6]

传道人和教师们哪，你们的工作应具有丰富属灵恩惠的香气；切不可搀杂世俗的事物，致使成为凡俗。应当前进，上进！应当洁净自己，“除去身体灵魂一切的污秽，敬畏上帝，得以成圣”（林后7:1）。{GW 272.3}[7]

Ministers and teachers, let your work be fragrant with rich spiritual grace. Do not make it common by mixing it with common things. Move onward and upward. Cleanse yourselves "from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." [2 Corinthians 7:1.] {GW 272.3}[7]

我们需要天天悔改。我们的祈祷应当更加热切，以致可以更有效力。我们的信心应当强而又强，以致上帝的灵必与我们同在，使我们成为圣洁、纯全、正直、馨香，犹如黎巴嫩的香柏树一样。——《教会证言》卷七第250-252页{GW 272.4}[8]

We need to be converted daily. Our prayers should be more fervent; then they will be more effectual. Stronger and stronger should be our confidence that God's Spirit will be with us, making us pure and holy, as upright and fragrant as the cedar of Lebanon. --"Testimonies for the Church," Vol. VII, pages 250-252. {GW 272.4}[8]
