高举主耶稣-第7章
And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree.Genesis 2:9.{LHU 20.1}[1]
高举主耶稣-第7章
在园子当中,靠近生命树那里,有分别善恶的树。这棵树乃是上帝所特别设置,作为人类始祖顺服、信仰和敬爱祂的保证物。主吩咐我们的始祖不可吃,也不可摸这树上的果子,免得他们死。……{LHU20.2}
高举主耶稣-第7章
In the midst of the garden, near the tree of life, stood the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This tree was especially designed of God to be the pledge of their obedience, faith, and love to Him. Of this tree the Lord commanded our first parents not to eat, neither to touch it, lest they die....{LHU 20.2}[2]
高举主耶稣-第7章
在亚当、夏娃被安置在那美丽的乐园中时,他们所能想到一切足以增进自身幸福的事物,全都有了。但上帝却在祂全智的安排中,定意要在使他们永保安全之前,先试验他们的忠贞。他们要得蒙祂的恩宠,祂也要常和他们互相交谈。然而祂并没有使他们不能接触邪恶。撒但得蒙准许来试探他们。如果他们经得起这种考验,他们便可永远得蒙上帝和众天使的恩宠。……{LHU20.3}
高举主耶稣-第7章
When Adam and Eve were placed in the beautiful garden they had everything for their happiness which they could desire. But God chose, in His all-wise arrangements, to test their loyalty before they could be rendered eternally secure. They were to have His favor, and He was to converse with them and they with Him. Yet He did not place evil out of their reach. Satan was permitted to tempt them. If they endured the trial they were to be in perpetual favor with God and the heavenly angels....{LHU 20.3}[3]
高举主耶稣-第7章
天上的议会决定派遣天使到伊甸园去警告亚当,告诉他有遭受仇敌攻击的危险。两位天使迅速前往访问我们的始祖。……{LHU20.4}
高举主耶稣-第7章
It was decided in heaven’s council for angels to visit Eden and warn Adam that he was in danger from the foe. Two angels sped on their way to visit our first parents....{LHU 20.4}[4]
高举主耶稣-第7章
他们告诉亚当、夏娃:上帝决不强迫他们顺服——祂并没有剥夺他们违背祂旨意的权柄;他们乃是能分辨是非的人,可以自由地顺命或违命。……{LHU20.5}
高举主耶稣-第7章
They told Adam and Eve that God would not compel them to obey—that He had not removed from them power to go contrary to His will; that they were moral agents, free to obey or disobey....{LHU 20.5}[5]
高举主耶稣-第7章
他们告诉他们二人:撒但蓄意要陷害他们,所以他们必需戒备,因为他们可能与那堕落的仇敌发生接触;然而只要他们顺服上帝的命令,他就无法伤害他们,因为如有必要,天上的每一个天使都必来援助他们,不让他加害于他们。……{LHU20.6}
高举主耶稣-第7章
They told them that Satan purposed to do them harm, and it was necessary for them to be guarded, for they might come in contact with the fallen foe; but he could not harm them while they yielded obedience to God’s command, for, if necessary, every angel from heaven would come to their help rather than that he should in any way do them harm....{LHU 20.6}[6]
高举主耶稣-第7章
天使嘱咐他们要严格地遵守上帝关于分别善恶树所给他们的指示,因为他们完全顺命就是安全的,这堕落了的仇敌也就没有能力欺骗他们。上帝不容许撒但不断用试探进逼那对圣洁的夫妇。他只能在分别善恶树那里接近他们。{LHU20.7}
高举主耶稣-第7章
The angels charged them to closely follow the instructions God had given them in reference to the tree of knowledge, for in perfect obedience they were safe, and this fallen foe could then have no power to deceive them. God would not permit Satan to follow the holy pair with continual temptations. He could have access to them only at the tree of knowledge of good and evil.{LHU 20.7}[7]
高举主耶稣-第7章
亚当、夏娃向天使保证他们决不违犯上帝的明令,因为他们以遵行上帝的旨意为至乐。于是天使和亚当、夏娃同声唱出和谐的圣乐,当他们的歌声从幸福的伊甸园发出时,撒但也听见了他们颂赞圣父与圣子的快乐歌声。他一听见了,他的妒忌,仇恨,和怨毒便随之激增,于是他向他的从者表示迫切的决心,要唆使亚当和夏娃违命,以便上帝的忿怒立即降在他们身上,致使他们颂赞的诗歌变为对创造主的怨恨与咒骂。(SR.24-31).{LHU20.8}
高举主耶稣-第7章
Adam and Eve assured the angels that they should never transgress the express command of God, for it was their highest pleasure to do His will. The angels united with Adam and Eve in holy strains of harmonious music, and as their songs pealed forth from blissful Eden, Satan heard the sound of their strains of joyful adoration to the Father and Son. And as Satan heard it his envy, hatred, and malignity increased, and he expressed his anxiety to his followers to incite them (Adam and Eve) to disobedience and at once bring down the wrath of God upon them and change their songs of praise to hatred and curses to their Maker (The Story of Redemption, 24-31).{LHU 20.8}[8]
