今日偕主行-第61章
二月二十九日 跟随祂的脚踪
今日偕主行-第61章
In His Steps, February 29
今日偕主行-第61章
“我们原是祂的工作,在基督耶稣里造成的,为要叫我们行善,就是上帝所预备叫我们行的”(弗2:10)。
今日偕主行-第61章
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10. {TDG 68.1}
今日偕主行-第61章
主并不悦纳凡度着无所事事而效能低劣生活的人所作的服务。他们所产生的影响令人偏离基督。自我牺牲与宗旨高尚乃是祂生活的特征。祂在地上的服务,自始至终,就是周游四方、广行善事。祂的生平没有出现过罪;言行也没有受过自私的破坏。祂曾问法利赛人:“你们中间谁能指证我有罪呢”(约8:46)?祂知道他们找不着什么把柄来控告祂。而且在祂受审的时候,彼拉多也强调说:“我查不出祂有什么罪来”(约18:38){。TDG 68.1}
今日偕主行-第61章
The Lord does not accept the service of those who live an inefficient, do-nothing life. They exert an influence that leads away from Christ. Self-denial and nobility of purpose marked His life. From the beginning to the close of His earthly ministry He went about doing good. In His life no sin appeared. No selfishness marred word or act. “Which of you convinceth me of sin?” (John 8:46), He asked the Pharisees, knowing that they could find nothing of which to accuse Him. And at His trial, Pilate declared emphatically, “I find in him no fault at all” (John 18:38). {TDG 68.2}
今日偕主行-第61章
基督说,我们应当像祂那样生活。祂说:“若有人要跟从我,就当舍己,背起他的十字架来跟从我”(可8:34)。祂所走的是牺牲的道路。{TDG 68.2}
今日偕主行-第61章
Christ declares that as He lived, so we are to live. “Whosoever will come after me,” He says, “let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” (Mark 8:34). His footsteps lead along the pathway of sacrifice. {TDG 68.3}
今日偕主行-第61章
在我们的人生中,有许多服务的机会。我们周围有许多敞开的服务之门。藉着正确地运用口才,我们可以为主作许多事。语言若带有基督的温柔和同情,就是为善的力量。金钱、影响、机智、时间和力量━━这一切都是委托给我们的恩赐,使我们更能帮助周围的人,尊荣我们的创造主。{TDG 68.3}
今日偕主行-第61章
As we pass through life, there come to us many opportunities for service. All around us there are open doors for ministry. By the right use of the talent of speech, we may do much for the Master. Words are a power for good when they are weighted with the tenderness and sympathy of Christ. Money, influence, tact, time, and strength—all these are gifts entrusted to us to make us more helpful to those around us, and more of an honor to our Creator. {TDG 68.4}
今日偕主行-第61章
许多人认为去访问基督在世时活动的地方,走祂所走过的路,到祂平常教训人的湖边,和祂常常观望的山谷去游览,乃是莫大的特权。然而我们要追随耶稣的脚踪,并不必到拿撒勒,迦百农或伯大尼去。在病床旁,在平民窟里,在都市拥挤的小巷中,在一切人心需要安慰的地方,到处都有耶稣的足迹。{TDG 68.4}
今日偕主行-第61章
Many feel that it would be a privilege to visit the scenes of Christ’s life on earth, to walk where He trod, to look upon the lake where He loved to teach, and the valleys and hills where His eyes so often rested; but we need not go to Palestine in order to walk in the steps of Jesus. We shall find His footprints beside the sickbed, in the hovels of poverty, in the crowded alleys of the great city, and in every place where there are human hearts in need of consolation. {TDG 68.5}
今日偕主行-第61章
人人都可以找到一些可行的善事。耶稣说:“常有穷人和你们同在”(约12:8)。所以莫想自己没有为祂工作的地方。……{TDG 68.5}
今日偕主行-第61章
All may find something to do. “The poor always ye have with you” (John 12:8), Jesus said, and none need feel that there is no place where they can labor for Him.... {TDG 68.6}
今日偕主行-第61章
基督所定的人生原则,就是决定我们每人在审判大日或存或亡的原则,乃是:“无论何事,你们愿意人怎样待你们,你们也要怎样待人”(太7:12)。 (《评论与通讯》1912年2月29日){TDG 68.6}
今日偕主行-第61章
Christ’s rule of life, by which everyone must stand or fall in the judgment, is, “Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them” (Matthew 7:12).—The Review and Herald, February 29, 1912. {TDG 68.7}
