  宇宙的主宰在祂慈惠的工作上不是独自进行的。祂有一位助手，一位能明了祂旨意，并与祂同享为众生造福之喜乐的同工。“太初有道，道与上帝同在，道就是上帝。这道太初与上帝同在”（约1:1，2）。这道就是上帝的独生子基督。祂与永生的父“原为一”──性质相同，品格相同，意念相同──惟有基督能参与上帝的一切谋略和旨意。“祂名称为奇妙，策士，全能的神，永在的父，和平的君。”“祂的根源从亘古，从太初就有”（赛9:6；弥5:2）。上帝的儿子论到自己说：“在耶和华造化的起头，在太初创造万物之先，就有了我。从亘古，从太初，……我已被立。……那时，我在祂那里为工师，日日为祂所喜爱，常常在祂面前踊跃”（箴8:22-30）。（PP 34）[2]

  The Sovereign of the universe was not alone in His work of beneficence. He had an associate,—a co-worker who could appreciate His purposes, and could share His joy in giving happiness to created beings. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” Christ, the Word, the only-begotten of God, was one with the eternal Father,—one in nature, in character, in purpose,—the only being that could enter into all the counsels and purposes of God. “His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of peace.” His “goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” And the Son of God declares concerning Himself; “The Lord possessed Me in the beginning of His way, before His works of old. I was set up from everlasting.... When He appointed the foundations of the earth, then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.”—Patriarchs and Prophets, 34.{RRe 36.2}[2]
