Make your requests known to your Maker. Never is one repulsed who comes to Him with a contrite heart. Not one sincere prayer is lost. Amid the anthems of the celestial choir, God hears the cries of the weakest human being. We pour out our heart’s desire in our closets, we breathe a prayer as we walk by the way, and our words reach the throne of the Monarch of the universe. They may be inaudible to any human ear, but they cannot die away into silence, nor can they be lost through the activities of business that are going on. Nothing can drown the soul’s desire. It rises above the din of the street, above the confusion of the multitude, to the heavenly courts. It is God to whom we are speaking, and our prayer is heard.38{AG 85.3}[3]

基督说：“要奉我的名求。”……基督乃是神与人之间的链环。衪曾应许要亲自为人代求。衪将自己公义的全部功劳，都归于求告的人。衪为人代求，而人在需要神助之时，也可运用那位为世人性命而舍生者的影响力，自己在上帝面前祈求。当我们在上帝面前承认感激基督的功劳之时，就有馨香之气加于我们的祈求之中。当我们藉着救赎主功劳的美德进到上帝面前时，基督就叫我们贴近衪的身旁，用衪人性的膀臂怀抱我们，同时又伸出衪神性的膀臂把握着那位无穷者的宝座。……{AG 85.4}[4]

“Ask in my name,” Christ says.... Christ is the connecting link between God and man. He has promised His personal intercession. He places the whole virtue of His righteousness on the side of the suppliant. He pleads for man, and man, in need of divine help, pleads for himself in the presence of God, using the influence of the One who gave His life for the life of the world. As we acknowledge before God our appreciation of Christ’s merits, fragrance is given to our intercessions. As we approach God through the virtue of the Redeemer’s merits, Christ places us close by His side, encircling us with His human arm, while with His divine arm He grasps the throne of the Infinite....{AG 85.4}[4]
