彰显主基督-第78章
三月十八日真正成圣洁的人自觉不配
彰显主基督-第78章
The Truly Sanctified Feel Unworthy, March 18
彰显主基督-第78章
“我们在你面前恳求,原不是因自己的义,乃因你的大怜悯”(但9:18)。{RC91.1}
彰显主基督-第78章
We do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercies. Daniel 9:18. {RC 91.1}
彰显主基督-第78章
那些有圣经中所阐明成圣之经验的人,必能显出一种谦卑的精神。他们像摩西一样,已经看见上帝圣洁的威荣,并因自己在无穷之主纯洁完全的对照之下而深觉不配。{RC91.2}
彰显主基督-第78章
Those who experience the sanctification of the Bible will manifest a spirit of humility. Like Moses, they have had a view of the awful majesty of holiness, and they see their own unworthiness in contrast with the purity and exalted perfection of the Infinite One. {RC 91.2}
彰显主基督-第78章
先知但以理是一个真正成圣的模范。他那漫长的一生充满了他为主所作崇高服务的伟迹。他是大蒙上天眷爱的一个人(见但10:11)。然而他并没有自居纯洁圣善。当他在上帝面前为他的同胞祷告时,这位尊贵的先知却把自己与犯罪的以色列视同一体,说:“我们在祢面前恳求,原不是因自己的义,乃因祢的大怜悯。”他说:“我们犯了罪,作了恶”(但9:18,15)……{RC91.3}
彰显主基督-第78章
The prophet Daniel was an example of true sanctification. His long life was filled with noble service for his Master. He was a man “greatly beloved” (Daniel 10:11) of Heaven. Yet instead of claiming to be pure and holy, this honored prophet identified himself with the really sinful of Israel as he pleaded before God in behalf of his people: “We do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.” “We have sinned, we have done wickedly” (chap. 9:18, 15).... {RC 91.3}
彰显主基督-第78章
当约伯听见耶和华从旋风中所发的声音时,他说:“我厌恶自己,在尘土和炉灰中懊悔”(伯42:6)。当以赛亚看见耶和华的荣光,听见撒拉弗呼喊:“圣哉,圣哉,圣哉,万军之耶和华”时,他就说:“祸哉,我灭亡了。”保罗在被提到第三层天上去并听见人不可说的事之后,他说自己“比众圣徒中最小的还小”(见林后12:2-4;弗3:8)。{RC91.4}
彰显主基督-第78章
When Job heard the voice of the Lord out of the whirlwind, he exclaimed: “I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes” (Job 42:6). It was when Isaiah saw the glory of the Lord, and heard the cherubim crying, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts,” that he cried out, “Woe is me! for I am undone” (Isaiah 6:3, 5). Paul, after he was caught up into the third heaven and heard things which it was not possible for a man to utter, speaks of himself as “less than the least of all saints” (2 Corinthians 12:2-4, margin; Ephesians 3:8).... {RC 91.4}
彰显主基督-第78章
凡行在髑髅地十字架阴影之下的人不能有自高的表现,或夸口说自己已经脱离了罪。他们觉悟到,那使上帝的儿子惨痛以至心碎的,乃是他们的罪。这种认识必使他深为自卑。那些生活与耶稣最亲近的人最能看清楚血肉之体的脆弱和邪恶,而且他们唯一的希望乃是倚仗那钉死而复活之救主的功劳。{RC91.5}
彰显主基督-第78章
There can be no self-exaltation, no boastful claim to freedom from sin, on the part of those who walk in the shadow of Calvary’s cross. They feel that it was their sin which caused the agony that broke the heart of the Son of God, and this thought will lead them to self-abasement. Those who live nearest to Jesus discern most clearly the frailty and sinfulness of humanity, and their only hope is in the merit of a crucified and risen Saviour. {RC 91.5}
彰显主基督-第78章
现代在基督教界得势的“成圣”带有一种自高自大和轻看上帝律法的精神,这就证明它是与圣经的宗教毫无相干的。维护这种谬论的人教训人说,成圣乃是一种立时成功的工作。他们只要有信心,就能达到完全圣洁的地步。……同时,他们否定上帝律法的权威,主张自己已经摆脱了一切遵守诫命的义务。其实人若与那表现上帝性质和旨意,并显明什么是祂所喜悦之事的原则不协调,又怎能成为圣洁而与上帝的旨意和品德相符呢?(GC.470,471){RC91.6}
彰显主基督-第78章
The sanctification now gaining prominence in the religious world carries with it a spirit of self-exaltation and a disregard for the law of God that mark it as foreign to the religion of the Bible. Its advocates teach that sanctification is an instantaneous work, by which, through faith alone, they attain to perfect holiness. “Only believe,” say they, “and the blessing is yours.” ... At the same time they deny the authority of the law of God, urging that they are released from obligation to keep the commandments. But is it possible for men to be holy, in accord with the will and character of God, without coming into harmony with the principles which are an expression of His nature and will, and which show what is well pleasing to Him?—The Great Controversy, 470, 471. {RC 91.6}
